Terms of sale
General terms and conditions of sale
Applicable to all miniature painting, 3D printing, assembly and basing services custom-made by Fifty Minis Studio. Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms.
This page is a courtesy translation; the French version is legally binding in the event of any discrepancy.
Article 1, Provider
The services described below are provided by Fifty Minis Studio, Guillaume Cinquanta, sole trader, SIRET 100 332 907 00011, [email protected]. See the legal notice for full publisher information.
Article 2, Nature of the services
Fifty Minis Studio provides exclusively made-to-order, quote-based services: miniature painting, 3D printing, custom assembly and basing. No miniature is sold ready-made or off the shelf: every order is a personalised piece, made specifically to the client's requests (universe, colour scheme, finish level, base, etc.).
Article 3, Quotes and orders
Every service is subject to a free, tailored quote drawn up after discussing the project with the client (via the contact form or any other channel listed on the site). The quote specifies the nature of the services, their quantity, unit price, indicative turnaround time and the number of revisions included.
The quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is sent. An order is only considered firm once payment (in full, or the agreed deposit) is received from the client, which constitutes unreserved acceptance of the quote and of these terms.
Article 4, Price and payment
Prices are shown in euros. VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. Payment is made online by card or PayPal from the client's private page, or by any other method agreed by message.
For larger orders (armies, batches of miniatures), a deposit may be requested before work begins, with the balance due before shipping. The "gap-filling" guarantee option offered on the Pricing page works like a deposit, refunded on the final invoice if no repair was needed.
Article 5, Turnaround times
The turnaround times stated (in the quote, or as an indication on the Pricing page) run from receipt of the material to be painted (miniatures supplied by the client or sourced by Fifty Minis Studio) and, where applicable, from payment of the deposit. They are indicative and may vary depending on project complexity and current order load; the client is informed of any significant change to the timeline.
Article 6, Progress updates and revisions
The client regularly receives progress photos and videos throughout the work, so adjustments can be requested before the piece is finished. The number of revisions included depends on the package chosen (see the Pricing page); extra revisions or design changes requested after a stage has been approved may incur a surcharge, communicated to the client before being carried out.
Article 7, Supply of miniatures and materials
Depending on the project, miniatures, terrain or 3D print files are either supplied by the client (at their own cost and risk during the outbound transport) or purchased/printed by Fifty Minis Studio on the client's behalf, at the cost stated in the quote. The client warrants having the necessary rights over any 3D files submitted for printing.
Article 8, Delivery
Once the final protective coat is applied, each miniature is individually cushioned and packed to limit the risk of breakage in transit. Delivery is free in mainland France from €50 of purchases, and available worldwide (additional shipping fees may apply depending on destination and will be stated before shipping).
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the client once the parcel is handed to the carrier. Fifty Minis Studio cannot be held liable for damage or delays caused by the carrier; a prompt report with photos will nonetheless allow us to support the client in any claim against the carrier.
Article 9, Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. As Fifty Minis Studio's services are always made to order (colour scheme, base, finish level specific to each client), no withdrawal is possible once the order has been confirmed and paid for.
A cancellation before work has started can nonetheless be discussed on a case-by-case basis; any work already committed (preparation time, materials ordered or started) remains payable.
Article 10, Ownership and image rights
Ownership of the physical miniatures transfers to the client on receipt. Fifty Minis Studio retains the right to photograph, film and publish its work (portfolio, social media, website) to showcase its craft, unless the client explicitly requests otherwise at the time of ordering. 3D miniature files supplied by the client remain their exclusive property and are neither kept nor reused beyond the order.
Article 11, Complaints and warranty
Any complaint regarding the order's conformity with the approved quote must be sent within 14 days of receipt, with supporting photos, via the contact form. Fifty Minis Studio commits to offering a suitable solution (touch-up, partial rework) to a reasonable extent and depending on the nature of the service ordered.
Article 12, Mediation and disputes
In the event of a dispute, the client is invited to contact Fifty Minis Studio first to seek an amicable solution. Failing agreement, in accordance with Articles L616-1 and R616-1 of the French Consumer Code, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator. These terms are governed by French law; any dispute, failing an amicable resolution, falls under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
